I was given one of these bracelets by my roommate. I thought that it was a cool bracelet and it is inline with what I'm interested in, boobies and breast cancer awareness. But, I immediately wondered, "Where could I wear this bracelet?". I want to promote breast cancer awareness in this cool way but is this bracelet the right way to do it. I did some research online and found the back story to the organization that started this trend. Also, I found out that schools across 6 states have banned these bracelets. "Are these bracelets appropriate? Leave a response below.

Ironically enough my roommate, a girl by the way, bought them for the simple fact that they had "I love boobies" written on them! I agree that some people my purchase these bracelets for pure shock value but, their $3.99 still went for a good cause. Plus, the founder on the organization encourages people to buy them for the shock value. Anything to get the word out about breast cancer awareness is good enough for him.

You should be allowed to wear them were ever. but some people misuse the bracelets [i.e guys] and turn it into something else. I've seen people put it on the logo on their skate boards and etc and some guys will harp on it. lets just say I dont think a skateboard to the face feels to good.
