I've been married 26 years to the same woman, my only marriage. Marriages fail because people are too lazy to keep it going and they don't want to work at the relationship. Instead of divorce, ask what brought us to this point. They play the blame game, and take the easy way out. If your marriage can't stand a little scrutiny then you shouldn't be married. Infidelity is not a valid reason to divorce. You don't stop being ion love just becuase you were cheated on. Live with it, deal with it, and make it work.

It is important to work at a relationship. Many folks are unwilling to do fertilize their own field and move on to pastures that look greener. Soon those pastures often turn brown too because of the lack of fertilizer!

People fall to fast and THINK they are ready to marry someone. You can't truly know someone until you live with them for at least a year or two.Also, maturity has a big impact.Don't just settle for someone cause they are funny, make sure that they can also handle mature situations.

instead of working to solve the problems that a relationship goes through as we age and change its far to easy to just swich partners that are on the level you are at the time

Because instead of family, modern people, especially young and especially women, think too much about money. They have no clue that once they die - it can happen today or 70 years later - nothing will be left of them for others to remember. While if they'd leave a child, with good, but not "super-extra-top-managed future", he'd be someone to remember them... doesn't it matters the most?
