Before I married I was told more than once that I was too nice! Well, I guess I was not bad enough. Some of the ladies that said that to me ended up in relationships that did not work out in the end. Would they have worked with me. Maybe not, but since there was never any relationship it will never be possible to know. I just know from observations that many folks choose a mate for all the wrong reasons and or they treat their mate in ways that are not good and I do not mean just by physical or mental abuse or the use of drugs or alcohol. It is important for husbands to love their wives physicall, mentally and spirtually and it is imprtant for the wive to proved full respect to the husband..

@FriedChicken That is true, some women like to be abused, which reminds me of a song by Eurythmics "some of them want to use you, some of them want to be used by you; some of them want to abuse you, some of them want to be abused".

However, judging from poll's defined questions, specifically "more interesting" or "the challenge", as opposed to only answer "better sex", I would say author refers to general idea of "women like bad boys", and in such context, I disagree.

There are women who go for money, caring less what the man is, as long as he pays (the bills). There are women who go for unique personality, and such personalities are usually eccentric, or egocentric one might say, but not necessarily abusive and bad. There are also women who go for something they consider bad, but in reality it is not - for example, a biker, rock drummer, some of these looney goth, etc - those might be crazy a bit, but not bad.

Bad in my understanding is one who really abuses other people, for no reason.

@wawuknet I agree with you if the question was "What is the REAL reason women LOVE bad boys?". I think this question was asked to figure out why women like bad boys AT ALL! Bad boys meaning somebody that treats them like a peice of meat. I have had relationships (some only sexual) with girls that wanted to be treated bad. I think it's a fantasy that women have. True that not all women act on this impulse/like and very few women marry someone like this. Some women just can help the impulse to sit back and let the man take TOTAL control. So, these women aren't gonna go for a computer nerd or a some guy that loves flowers...she's gonna go for a BAD BOY!

Is the ANOTHER reason why women REALLY like Bad boys?

Hey, world. Reading this article here on AskEachOther.com, I couldn’t help to sit and write my response to the author.

Although the answers seem logical, allow me to quote Hitchhiker’s Guide to Galaxy “I think the problem, to be quite honest with you, is that you’ve never actually known what the question is”.

Do women really like Bad Boys? Do they always choose criminals and abusers as their life partner? Do they stay with such for a long time? I don’t think so.
It seems that more obvious solution here is that woman, by nature, seeking person who wouldn’t give a damn for things that do not worth spending of your time on. He surely has principles of life, his best friend is always more important to him than his woman, because woman can go, and true friend will stay with you thru the darkest hours.

Women do not like Bad Boys. Women do like, in my humble opinion, boys that see the life as some to pass by thru, earning exclusively celestial profits. Yes, he can be rough at times, his opinion can be different and his decision is final at all times. But he is not Bad, he’s just real.

Wouldn’t you agree?
