[SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT FOR A MOMENT]
As of late [June 2nd as OMG, Yahoo! news reported] singing sensation Rihanna has came under some fire for her violence centered video for "Man Down." RiRi isn't the first woman or person to have her music video be violent or depict it. I have watched the video myself, I loved the song when it came out but never got around to watching the video. I recently watched, I think it sends a message of great controversy. But it shows that women shouldn't have to put up with a man assulting them. Not saying killing someone is the solution. But
you should be allowed to stand up for yourself and protect yourself against situations that harm you physically or is unwanted. No one, man or woman should
be taken advantage of. I think RiRi's main message was to girls saying to stand up for yourself. Don't let anyone harm you or do something to you that is unwanted and makes you feel uncomfortable and to never back down from how you feel. If you have or do watch the video [I'll link it below] what are your thoughts?
Do you think she was wrong for making a powerful video that depicts violence against a man, when it's usually the other way around?
[SIDE NOTE]Many may remember how ex-boyfriend,Chris Brown assaulted her by hitting her many times in the face. The pictures were bad enough let alone being made public to the world for Rihanna that I think this is her way of getting over that part of her situation.

I dislike this video & don't think she should've taken it all that far with the video. It was a bit much.
