Caylee would've been celerbreating her sixth birthday yesterday. If her life had not been cut so serverly short by someone who should've never harmed her.
Caylee's grandparents, Cindy & George Anthony along with 100 members of the public gathered in George & Cindy Anthony's Orlando-area neighborhood, near the
wooded area where Caylee's remains were found in December 2008.
The grandparents apperance was a surprise to some of the people attending.But some are glad
that they showed up and are getting some kind of clouser.
There was a few people carrying signs criticizing the jury's acquittal last month and others held signs of love for Caylee. They released purple balloons and butterflies while chanting "happy birthday, Caylee." The Antoney's said they'd support the design if it was done tastefully.
"Bring Kids Home, a nonprofit group that helps missing and abused children, wants to build a memorial at the site. The project, set to be designed by artist Jefre, would center on a reflecting pond with a glass ring hanging over it like a halo. It would incorporate elements of A. A. Milne Winnie-the-Pooh books, and would feature cubby holes along a path for visitors to leave stuffed animals and other items that could in turn be given to children's charities. I am glad people are still remembering her & other missing children.
I still pray everyday for that child. She deserved so much more then that.
Uhm. Where was her "Mom"?!?!
I am excited to see the memorial that they are creating for missing children.
