Will Steve Jobs leave of absence hurt Apple in any...

By FriedChicken Jan 18, 2011 10:39am

What's up with Steve Jobs?

He is going on a "leave of absence".  That's all.  Yes, he is the CEO of Apple and  his leaving will affect some of the day-to-day operations of the company but, I don't think his leaving will hurt Apple in any kind of way overall.  He is dealing with health issues which lead to family issues which is personal.  All this means is that his family will be more affected than Apple will be.

Apple is a well oiled machine at this point.  They have the top device designers and great customer support.  That's what drives sales. Their ads don't hurt either.  If anything, having the boss out of the office might even inspire some of Apple's employees to be more productive!  With Apple ahead of the pack when it comes to innovation, it's going to take a lot more than Steve Jobs getting sick to slow them down.

This is FriedChicken and that's my 2cents. Peace.
