Do you think Cisco should go back to making the Fl...

By FriedChicken Apr 12, 2011 1:09pm

I think the Flip video camera was a good idea. I also think that this product can be profitable for any company to produce. With a company like Cisco they might not want to take on the long term responsibility of a product like this. I think they should continue making the Flip camera. There is a market full of people that don't have a smart phone or don't have a video camera built into their current cell phone. Also, think about gifts for budding videographers. Maybe a temporary video camera for a hiking or camping trip. I could go on and on but you get the idea.

What do you think? Please leave your comments and thoughts below. Thanks for reading!

I also think that the Flip video camera was such a good idea. I even wanted one myself and was going to purchase one when I could. With technology always changing, I think that they would need to work on product development if they were to keep the product. For example, creating a bigger screen, more edit options or even integrating the idea into smart phones (like an app.) As far as markets, I think it would be a great idea if they targeted at tweens.
