**Just as a disclaimer, these are my thoughts and opinions. I don't have a huge database of evidence for these points. The reason I don't do amazing amounts of research is because I wanna give you a "normal" persons point of view.**   

 

     Happy Saint Valentine's Day! This day comes and goes quickly so make sure it's special. Most men go "all out" for their partners and most women treat their partners a little better than most days as a form of "thanks" for going "all out". There are exceptions like women who reverse roles with their men and people who get married. With that being said, I don't fully agree with people's actions on Valentine's Day. Spending money on this day is great but I think what you do the rest of the year is more important. 

     Flowers are cheap, beautiful and shows that you care. Bundle that with an oil change or paying a bill is a pretty good gift, for her, that keeps on giving. For guys, Xbox Live points, car parts or technology is the best, plus, it keeps us in the house away from other women. Just don't break the bank and make sure you are buying gifts for someone you are in a relationship with.

     Another thing that February 14th is good for is "making up". If you've pissed off your partner but you both are still "together" then doing something big for V-Day is not a horrible idea. It might even get you back into good graces with your mate. Also, doing nice things consistantly throughout the year let's you off the hook when February 14th does roll around.

     The moral is: "Know the person and what they like. Also, don't break the bank."
